Calling Rules

What every call and text is checked against before it reaches somebody, and what RubyDoo Phone does about each rule for you. For reading, not changing.

What RubyDoo Phone will handle for you
  • Not active yet. When it is, sales calls and texts placed by your assistants are checked before they go out, and a number linked to TCPA lawsuits is not contacted. Because that happens at the moment it would go rather than when it was asked for, you get an email — the assistant only sees it by checking what it scheduled.
  • Price: $0.04 per check, billed to your account. Each call or text is checked at the moment it goes out.
  • A match stops marketing to that number, and nothing else. It never touches a decision about the person — not whether they are offered a policy, not what they are charged for it, not credit, not hiring. Used that way it stops being a suppression list and becomes a background check on somebody, which is a different body of law with its own duties, and these lists are neither built nor licensed for it. If you are ever tempted to look someone up here before quoting them, that is the line.
What a litigator list is
  • A private database of phone numbers tied to people who have sued, or threatened to sue, under the TCPA — plaintiffs, often their attorneys, and on some lists people who only complained.
  • There is no government list. Every one is maintained privately.
  • Screening is voluntary and gives no legal protection. Consent, the do-not-call lists and calling hours still apply.
  • Somebody filing for the first time is on no list, so a clean result is not a promise.
